Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the EquiForge platform and related services. It supplements and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to upload, generate, transmit, or store content that:

  • Violates applicable law or third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
  • Is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or threatens violence.
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors.
  • Discloses non-public personal information of others without lawful basis.
  • Constitutes regulated material (e.g., classified, export-controlled, or restricted health data) without authorization.

2. Prohibited Activities

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or underlying systems.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service, including denial-of-service attacks.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code, model weights, or training data, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of the Service beyond rate limits we publish or agree to in writing.
  • Using the Service to develop a competing product or to benchmark without prior written consent.

3. AI-Specific Rules

  • Do not use AI outputs to impersonate a real person without their consent.
  • Do not represent AI outputs as legal, financial, tax, or engineering advice issued by a licensed professional.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate the model to produce content that violates this AUP (e.g., jailbreaks).
  • Do not use the Service to generate disinformation or to interfere with elections, civic processes, or critical infrastructure.

4. Security

  • Do not introduce malware, exploits, or other malicious code.
  • Do not test the security of the Service except under our Vulnerability Disclosure program.
  • Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@equiforge.ai.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including warnings, content removal, account suspension, termination, and cooperation with law enforcement. We may act without notice where required to protect the Service or its users.

6. Reporting

Report AUP violations to legal@equiforge.ai. Report security issues to security@equiforge.ai.
